Aubrey Wheeler, MD is a board-certified Family Medicine Physician providing care to patients at Davidson Family Medicine, an Avance Care practice in Davidson, North Carolina.

Originally from Waycross, Georgia, he was inspired by the impact his father and other family practitioners had on their local community. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology, graduating Magna Cum Laude and as a member of Phi Beta Kappa from the University of Georgia. He went on to receive his Doctor of Medicine from the Medical College of Georgia and completed his residency training in family medicine at Carolinas Medical Center in Charlotte, North Carolina.

During residency, Dr. Wheeler pursued additional training in integrative medicine at the Andrew Weil Center in Tucson, Arizona, with a focus on longevity, prevention, nutrition, mind-body techniques, and supplements/botanicals. His approach to care is rooted in the belief that the body has an innate capacity to heal. He is passionate about providing holistic, patient-centered care that addresses the physical, mental, social, and spiritual aspects of health, with an emphasis on prevention and long-term wellness.

Outside of medicine, Dr. Wheeler enjoys live music, photography, specialty coffee, college football, traveling, and spending time with his family.
