Ashley Wooldrik, FNP-C, is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner and primary care provider seeing patients at Avance Care Knightdale in Knightdale, North Carolina.
Ashley earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing with honors from the University of Nebraska Medical Center in 2017. She later returned to her alma mater to complete her Master of Science in Nursing with a concentration in family practice in 2024. Throughout her nursing career, Ashley worked as a float-pool registered nurse at two Level II trauma centers, gaining broad clinical experience in cardiology, emergency medicine, intensive care, pediatrics, orthopedics, and trauma care.
While pursuing her graduate degree, Ashley served as a graduate assistant at the University of Nebraska, contributing to the education of future nurses by teaching health assessment, cardiology, and intensive care concepts. Over the past two years, she has practiced in urgent care and primary care settings, further strengthening her commitment to comprehensive, patient-centered care. She is a member of the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners.
Ashley believes that building trust and meeting patients where they are is fundamental to a collaborative healthcare relationship. She is dedicated to creating a comfortable, supportive environment and values patient education as a key component in improving health outcomes and quality of life. Her clinical interests include women’s health, diabetes management, dermatology, and preventive care across the lifespan.
A native Nebraskan, Ashley relocated to the Triangle area in 2024. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her husband and their Australian Shepherd. Together, they love exploring new restaurants, taking long walks, and traveling—especially to the mountains. In her free time, Ashley enjoys playing volleyball, reading copious amounts, and cheering on Husker sports.
