Amy Leach, LCSW, is a Behavioral Health Therapist providing mental health treatment at Avance Care Primary Care in Chapel Hill, North Carolina. Amy has experience working with anxiety, depression, life transitions, parenting, relationship concerns, and trauma. She often works with folks who identify as LGBTQ, and understands the importance of intersecting identities. She uses a collaborative and strengths based approach, as well as some interventions from ACT and DBT.
Amy received her Master of Social Work from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She has experience working in community mental health services with children and adolescents, and in a college counseling center.
Amy has lived in NC since moving from NY in 2002 for graduate school. She enjoys hiking, reading, and spending time with her partner and children.
