Allison Gapinski, FNP-C is a Primary Care Provider and board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner with Avance Primary Care in Morrisville, North Carolina.
Allison is board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. She graduated as a member of Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing.
Allison completed her bachelor’s degree in nursing at Purdue University in West Lafayette, Indiana. She also had the opportunity to study abroad in Guanajuato, Mexico and was able to volunteer at the local hospital. After graduating, she gained experience on a medical-surgical/telemetry unit as a Registered Nurse. She then relocated to Cary in 2010 after marrying her husband. She has since held positions at UNC hospital on an adult critical care unit and at Rex Hospital on a post-partum unit while completing the master’s program at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
Allison places incredible emphasis on patient education. She desires to empower patients to make well-informed decisions about their health. She takes a holistic approach to healthcare, ensuring all aspects of a patient’s life are receiving the attention they need.
In her free time, Allison enjoys cooking, exercising, family time, and most importantly, chocolate! She enjoys exploring the Triangle and other parts of North Carolina with her husband and their friends.
