Allison Copeck, MSW, LCSW, is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker providing mental health treatment at Davidson Family Medicine, an Avance Care Practice in Davidson, North Carolina.
Allison received her Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from East Carolina University before earning her Master of Science degree in Social Work from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. Her experience includes working at an adult inpatient psychiatric hospital, where she specialized in crisis management and brief, solution-focused interventions.
Allison enjoys working with adults experiencing anxiety, OCD, depression, personality disorders, and severe and persistent mental illness. She believes quality mental health care should be easily accessible and works hard to ensure all of her clients feel safe and supported during their sessions. Allison utilizes components of Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) to promote mindfulness, emotional regulation, and an increased sense of resilience.
Originally from New Jersey, Allison now resides in Charlotte, North Carolina. In her free time, she enjoys exercising, exploring the city, baking sourdough, and spending time with friends and family.
