Avance Care welcomes Durham Family Medicine (now Avance Care Broad Street), led by longstanding leader in Durham healthcare Dr. Mohan Chilukuri, to the Avance Care family. This marks the 3rd Avance Care Primary Care location in Durham and the 33rd Avance Care practice in North Carolina, and it symbolizes a strategic step forward in our mission to expand access to patient-centered, innovative healthcare solutions.
This partnership will allow Dr. Chilukuri and his practice to leverage Avance Care’s resources and expertise while upholding the compassionate care that they have provided to the community for over 15 years. Dr. Chilukuri, a board-certified family physician with 30 years of experience in family medicine, remarked, “We are enthusiastic about the opportunities this partnership brings to our patients and the broader Durham community. The Avance Care Broad Street location will continue to operate at its current address, with all current providers and staff, ensuring seamless continuity of care for existing patients. The integration process aims to minimize disruption for patients during the transition period.
Avance Care Broad Street hosted its grand opening celebration on December 6 from 5:30-7 pm. Dr. Chilukuri was joined by Avance Care executives, Dr. Steve Schewel, former Mayor of Durham, and community business leaders for the ribbon cutting.
