Dr. Teneisha Davis join Avance Care Morrisville

Avance Care Morrisville welcomes new primary care physician.

MORRISVILLE, NC – Dr. Pratik Desai, MD FACC, President of Avance Care, P.A. announced that Doctor Teneisha Davis has joined their team of medical professionals at their Morrisville office located at 6402 McCrimmon Parkway, Suite 100.

Dr. Teneisha Davis, board certified in Family Medicine, received her undergraduate degree from Temple University and Doctor of Medicine degree from Drexel University College Medicine. Dr. Davis completed her Post-Graduate training in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Cooper University Hospital and her training in Family Medicine at Underwood Memorial Hospital.

Prior to working for Avance Care, Dr. Davis resided in South Carolina where she practiced medicine in a rural private setting.  During that time period, she also served as Medical Director of the Williamsburg County office of Hospice Care of South Carolina.  After moving to North Carolina, she worked in the community healthcare setting.  As an MD for Avance Care, Dr. Davis will continue to provide quality, affordable medical care to those who need it.

Dr. Davis is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians and the NC Academy of Family Physicians.  She enjoys providing care to all ages, but has a primary focus on preventive medicine, women’s care, as well as child and adolescent medicine with an emphasis on patient education. In her spare time, Dr. Davis is active in her church and community organizations.  She enjoys cooking, traveling, and spending time with her husband and two children.
