What is Changing With the NC State Health Plan?
The North Carolina State Health Plan is introducing updates to its provider network for 2027, moving to a new four-tiered network structure (Preferred, Access, Non-Preferred, and Out-of-Network). Under this new system, members will pay the lowest deductibles and out-of-pocket costs when they choose “Preferred” providers.
