Avance Care is pleased to announce the opening of its seventh Primary Care practice. Situated on Oberlin road between Wade Avenue and Cameron Village the Central Raleigh location officially opens its doors on February 1, 2016 and will welcome Dr. Joanne Fruth and Dr. Jake Brayboy to the team.
The 5,000 square foot facility will feature extended weekday hours and Saturday and Sunday hours, onsite lab services and x-ray capability, nutrition services and the added convenience of the adjacent Oberlin Road Pharmacy. “We believe that by providing high-quality comprehensive care along with innovative online services we can reduce wait times and improve patient experience,” said Manish Patel CEO of Avance Care. “We aim to reduce healthcare costs for patients and employers alike with this dynamic approach to Primary Care.”
Joanne Fruth, MD is a board certified Family Physician with over 25 years of practice experience. Dr. Fruth attended the Medical College of Ohio in Toledo and completed her residency at the University of Washington Swedish Medical Center. Dr. Fruth has worked for the US Navy in Yokosuka Japan, Duke Medicine and most recently WakeMed Urgent Care. Her love of Family Medicine has brought her back to Primary Care.
Jake Brayboy, MD is a board certified Family Medicine physician who received his medical degree from The Brody School of Medicine at East Carolina University in Greenville, NC and completed his residency in Greenville at Pitt County Memorial Hospital. Upon completing his training, he spent 7 years providing wide-spectrum medical care to the under-served inner-city communities of Chicago. Dr. Brayboy’s focus is to provide patient oriented medical care with a particular emphasis on preventive health.
