Avance Care Behavioral Health Celebrates 10 Years of Growth, Expansion, and Integrated Care Across North Carolina
Raleigh, N.C., June 2, 2026 — Avance Care Behavioral Health is proud to celebrate 10 years of serving patients and communities through compassionate, evidence-based care. Founded in January 2016 by psychologist Dr. Daniel Hauschild, Avance Care Behavioral Health is a renowned part of Avance Care’s integrated care model—supporting patients through behavioral health assessments, therapy, and expanded mental health services.
Over the past decade, Avance Care Behavioral Health has continually expanded to meet the growing needs of patients and communities. What began as a single service line has developed into a team of more than 100 staff members supporting patients through integrated behavioral health screenings in primary care, office-based opioid treatment support, telehealth, group therapy, internship and training programs, Centers of Excellence, dedicated Behavioral Health locations, and expansion into Charlotte and Wilmington. Through continued collaboration across primary care, psychiatry, nutrition, chronic care, and specialty services, Behavioral Health has helped strengthen access to more connected, comprehensive mental healthcare.
To honor this milestone, Avance Care invites community members, partners, and supporters to join the Behavioral Health team for a special 10-Year Anniversary Celebration on Tuesday, June 2, from 6:00–8:00 PM, with the formal program beginning at 7:00 PM. Guests will enjoy refreshments, tour the practice, connect with the team, and reflect on the growth and impact of the past 10 years.

The growth of Behavioral Health has also helped support the continued expansion of mental health services across Avance Care, including psychiatry and additional specialty collaborations.

This milestone reflects both the history of Behavioral Health and its continued role in shaping the future of integrated mental healthcare at Avance Care, allowing us to better serve our communities.
