Tobias King, FNP-C
Tobias King is a Board-Certified Family Nurse Practitioner by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. He attended Florida A&M University for his undergraduate degree in nursing and obtained his Master of Science in Nursing from Valdosta State University.
After graduating from his undergraduate studies, Practitioner King decided to work as a travel nurse in various states such as Florida, Georgia, Texas, Arizona, Washington, D.C., and California to help offset the shortage of nurses in understaffed hospitals; accumulating seven years of nursing experience ranging from critical care, medical-surgical, orthopedic, critical wound, and cardiac nursing units. Since becoming a family nurse practitioner, Practitioner King has gained experience by working in a high patient volume walk-in clinic. He also worked in rural health clinics with a primary focus on giving back to the community, where he led various outreach events. His passion is to be a change agent in healthcare spreading a passionate smile and a helping hand.
Practitioner King was born in the sunshine state of Florida and grew up in the beautiful coastal city of Fort Pierce. After all his travels, he decided to relocate with his wife and son to the Raleigh area in 2018, where they plan on establishing and nurturing their careers in medicine as nurse practitioners. Practitioner King is a family man who enjoys the outdoors, listening to an array music, and loves various forms of exercise.
