Nicole Brown, FNP-C
Practitioner Brown is a Board-Certified Family Nurse Practitioner by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. She attended the University of Florida for her undergraduate degree in nursing and obtained her Master of Science degree from The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Nicole has over four years of nursing experience working as a registered nurse in the emergency department of a busy level-one trauma center at Duke University Hospital.
Practitioner Brown is excited to see patients of all ages and is passionate about preventative care and educating patients on their health. Her particular interests include acute care and chronic disease management, like hypertension management. She also wants to be an advocate for nurse practitioners in the state, hoping to one day see nurse practitioners play an even larger role in health care.
Practitioner Brown moved to Durham in 2009 and is settled in the area with her husband. In her free time, she and her husband love to hike, play outside, take day trips, and watch football.
