Megan Balliet, FNP-C
Practitioner Balliet is a Board-Certified Family Nurse Practitioner by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners.
Practitioner Balliet attended the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill for both her undergraduate nursing degree and her master’s degree in nursing. She worked for two years as a staff nurse at UNC Children’s Hospital in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit prior to returning to school for her graduate degree. After graduating with her master’s in nursing, Practitioner Balliet worked as a Family Nurse Practitioner at the Franklin County Health Department in Louisburg, NC. Working as a provider at the health department allowed her to care for a wide variety of patients, including newborns, children, adolescents, and adults.
Practitioner Balliet greatly enjoys the diversity found in primary care. She has a particular interest in child health and chronic disease management. Practitioner Balliet focuses on patient education and empowering patients to become informed and active participants in their own health.
In her free time, Practitioner Balliet enjoys cheering her nephews on at their soccer games, exploring local parks with her dog and husband, cooking, quilting, and playing fantasy football.
