Kathryn specializes in anxiety, depression (including postpartum depression), interpersonal relationship skills, life transitions, and overcoming trauma. She brings a strength-based and client-centered approach to her therapy. She believes that every person has unique qualities that can build hope and assist in overcoming mental health challenges. Kathryn supports individuals and families to improve their quality of life and build strong relationships through incorporating evidenced-based practices including cognitive behavioral therapy, cognitive processing therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy, family structural therapy, and play therapy into her clinical work.
Kathryn is relatively new to the Triangle area and enjoys living close to both the mountains and the ocean. During her free time, she is frequently hiking with her family and her puppy.
