Hilary Karabin, FNP-C
Hilary Karabin is a Board-Certified Family Nurse Practitioner by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners (AANP). She attended Youngstown State University for her undergraduate degree and Franciscan University of Steubenville for her master’s degree, both located in Ohio. Practitioner Karabin started her nursing career at Salem Community Hospital as an emergency room nurse where she loved the fast pace and high acuity of seeing patients with a quick turnaround. She stayed with Salem Hospital for 7 years, then transitioned to Akron Children’s Hospital as an emergency room nurse. There she learned the love of caring for children and the importance of family medicine. She left the emergency room setting in 2011 to pursue her career as a family nurse practitioner.
Practitioner Karabin believes that your health is the foundation of everything you do and that an ongoing relationship with your provider will help you stay healthy and productive to live your best life. She cares for all patients across the age span and empowers her patients to take control of their health.
Practitioner Karabin currently lives in Apex with her husband, Dave, and their fur-babies. She enjoys spending time with friends and family and loves to travel. On her days off, you can find Practitioner Karabin on the boat or reading a book.
