Godwin Nweke, FNP-C
Godwin Nweke is a Board-Certified Family Nurse Practitioner. He graduated from Winston Salem State University with a Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing designation. He has worked in the hospital setting for about ten years. Six of those years as a registered nurse specializing in behavioral health. After working in the neurosciences and behavioral health setting for many years, Godwin’s interest in family medicine grew. He decided to pursue his master’s degree in family medicine at WSSU. Godwin is also certified in psychiatric mental health nursing and hopes to use his knowledge of mind and body to help clients reach meaningful outcomes and goals.
Godwin works with all age groups, from newborn to geriatric. He has more focused training working in pediatrics and women’s health. Godwin’s philosophy is one of being present with the client in order to understand and reach the client’s meaningful goals and outcomes. Godwin is passionate about providing quality care utilizing evidence-based guidelines.
Godwin loves to spend time with family and friends just talking and sharing a homecooked meal. He is a proud father of his son, Josiah. Godwin enjoys staying active by going to the gym, jogging, and sometimes shooting hoops.
