Are you tired of trying “diets” that don’t work for you? Diane Butler is an “anti-diet” registered dietitian/nutritionist. Diane is a weight inclusive nutritionist who will support you in finding acceptance in whatever size or shape body you’re in.
Diane enjoys working with patients in the areas of Diabetes, weight management, generally healthy eating and managing other chronic conditions such as hypertension and hyperlipidemia. Her counseling style is laid back, encouraging and non-judgmental. She believes in working with clients to challenge them to be the best versions of themselves. Diane provides accountability and support for patients. She encourages patients on achieving the best health based on their individual goals, which is established by really getting to know the patient and listening.
Diane believes in helping you to find a balance between eating, physical activity, stress management and sleep, and emotional well-being. These all play a very important role in a healthy lifestyle and disease management.
Having Type 1 Diabetes for most of her life, Diane brings this experience into her counseling to build strong bonds and real-life tips and tricks to help manage Diabetes. She is also a strong believer in just because you have diabetes-it does not define you. She knows that food is life and should be enjoyable and nourishing. She also realizes living with Diabetes, you want to know that someone else understands and has first-hand experiences with these day to day struggles with managing this disease which is a 24/7 job.
When Diane is not working, she enjoys spending time with family and friends, reading, cooking, baking, cycling, walking and jogging. Diane is a self-proclaimed “foodie”. She is always looking for the next adventure. She is happily married with one daughter and 2 German Shepherd rescues – Finnick and Sully.
