Daniel Corbin, FNP-C
Practitioner Corbin is a Board-Certified Family Nurse Practitioner, receiving a Master of Science in nursing from the University of North Carolina Wilmington. Prior to becoming a nurse practitioner, he obtained an Associate of Applied Science in nursing degree from Pitt Community College and a Bachelor of Science in nursing degree from Winston-Salem State University where he was a Dean’s List graduate. After obtaining his first nursing degree, he worked as a registered nurse at WakeMed and after four years, he transferred to the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit where he gained nursing experience working with newborns, children, and adolescents.
Practitioner Corbin believes in forming close relationships with his patients and values diversity as he recognizes the tremendous changes and growth in the Raleigh area over the past several years. He is passionate about improving the health of the entire community through education, prevention, and affordable care, with special interests in pediatrics and the healthcare needs of the Spanish-speaking and the LGBT+ communities. In an effort to provide culturally-competent care, he continually works on his Spanish communication skills through self-study and interacting with patients and families who speak little to no English.
Practitioner Corbin was born in Raleigh and has lived in the Triangle area his entire life. He enjoys spending quality time with his three daughters and attending church services. In his free time, he enjoys traveling, exploring new cities, spending time with his family and friends, and trying new food and craft beers.
