Courtney Hinton, DO
Dr. Hinton completed broad-spectrum family medicine residency training, inclusive of working with both urban and suburban populations. She enjoys taking care of all patients, ranging from the young to the young at heart. Her particular interests lie in osteopathic manipulative treatment, contraceptive management, preventative care, adolescent health and wellness, and providing inclusive medical services to her patients, no matter the gender or sexual identity.
Dr. Hinton maintains membership with the American Academy of Family Physicians, the American College of Osteopathic Family Physicians, and the North Carolina affiliate chapters of these organizations. She believes that participation and dialogue amongst fellow family physicians not only strengthens her individual practice and helps her stay up to date on family medicine, but also allows her to exert her own desire to contribute to and provide leadership throughout the specialty.
In her spare time, Dr. Hinton is an active member of her sorority, Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc., working towards the sorority’s primary goal of providing service to all mankind. Her other primary passion is the Performing Arts, thus she enjoys seeking out opportunities to dance, sing, act, or attend a local performance. She enjoys traveling, film, and spending time with her husband, her twin sons, extended family, and friends.
