Wahiba Kartaoui is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. She graduated Sigma Theta Tau Honor Society of Nursing. Wahiba graduated from Winston Salem State University with her master’s degree in nursing. She has clinical experience from Duke and UNC Hospitals.
Wahiba worked as a nurse practitioner in Greensboro for two years where she was promoted to medical director and vice president of operations, before moving to the Triangle. She loves taking care of children, adults, and older adults using evidence-based medicine. Primary care has always been her passion. She loves building relationships with her patients while promoting healthy lifestyle and preventing chronic disease. Wahiba is fluent in Spanish, French, and Arabic.
Originally from Casablanca, Morocco, Wahiba went to France to study medicine and subsequently decided to follow her childhood dream and move to the United States. She enjoys spending time with her daughter and son, the rest of her family, and friends. She also loves travel, music, dance, and working out whenever possible.
