Tamara Jamison Haynes is a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor and Supervisor for the State of North Carolina. She received her Master of Arts degree in Professional Counseling from South University.
Tamara works with adults. Tamara has provided counseling support in many different settings including community mental health, private practice, psychiatric facilities, and the county jail. She has extensive experience supporting individuals as they navigate through crisis situations, past and current trauma, and other major life transitions such as loss, grief, and divorce. Tamara has vast experience providing individual, couples, and family counseling. Tamara’s counseling approach is individualized, person-centered and holistic aimed to support her patient’s unique needs. She utilizes cognitive behavior therapy (CBT), solution-focused therapy, person-centered, and other integrative approaches such as integrative pastoral psychotherapy and mindfulness.
Tamara enjoys reading, gardening, creating art, and spending time with her family and her two cats.
