Julia obtained her Master of Arts in Professional Clinical Mental Health Counseling (CACREP) from South University Columbia. Julia also holds a B.A in Psychology Degree from South University. She has core training in Human Growth & Development, Social And Cultural Diversity, Helping Relationships, Group Work, Career Development, Assessment, Research & Program Evaluation, And Professional Orientation & Ethical Practice.
Julia has been providing counseling for many patients in several mental health settings. She has provided mental health counseling to individuals groups in correctional, disability and special needs, after school behavioral, and outpatient medical clinic (chronic health conditions) settings. Julia specializes in severe and persistent mental illness, development issues, chronic health conditions, LGBTQ+, and social service professionals in the community. She values treating everyone with respect, sensitivity, and compassion, and not stigmatizing labels. Julia approach combines cognitive-behavioral, humanistic, psychodynamic and rational-emotive therapy.
