Bredell Moody is a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor, Licensed Clinical Addiction Specialist Associate, and Nationally Certified Counselor. He completed his Masters in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at the University of North Carolina at Pembroke. Through group and individual services, Bredell has worked with diverse populations – including various ethnicities, cultures, socioeconomic status, and different stages of development. He most recently worked as a college counselor. He specializes in addressing emotional and behavioral concerns, anxiety, depression, addictive behaviors, stress management, anger management, and self-esteem concerns.
Bredell uses an integrative approach that empowers clients to freely express and challenge themselves to move towards their desired goals. Bredell uses cognitive behavioral strategies paired with existential theory, motivational interviewing, and mindfulness-based approaches to assist patients with examining and changing the thoughts, behaviors, and emotions, that impact motivation and the ability to create and live in their self-identified purpose. Bredell believes fostering authentic therapeutic connections built on empathy, respect, and empowerment are conducive to creating a space where patients can be vulnerable and nurtured to heal and grow.
Bredell is from Fayetteville, North Carolina. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his wife. He also enjoys fishing, listening to music, reading, and playing video games.
