Bonnie Wilson is a Registered Dietitian with the Commission on Dietetic Registration. She is also a certified health coach with the National Society of Health Coaches. She completed her Bachelor of Science in Nutrition Science followed by her Master of Science in Nutrition at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. Following graduate school, she completed her dietetic internship with Lenoir-Rhyne University in Asheville, North Carolina, where she specialized in childhood obesity prevention.
Bonnie started her career in a small hospital in Virginia, but quickly realized her passion for outpatient nutrition counseling and began working as an outpatient dietitian for VCU Health in Richmond, Virginia. After a couple years in Richmond she decided to move back to North Carolina to be closer to family and friends and continued to do outpatient nutrition counseling in both primary care and corporate wellness environments. Bonnie is passionate about guiding patients to making realistic lifestyle changes. She loves making connections with people and providing individualized care based on patients’ needs and personal goals.
In her free time, Bonnie enjoys traveling, reading, shopping, and spending time outdoors. She is a faithful fan of the NC State Wolfpack and you’ll always see her cheering them on, win or lose.
