Avance Care Announces New Location in Leesville, North Raleigh
After a great success in Morrisville, NC, demand requires opening of a new location

Since its inception in January of 2008, Avance Care has been extremely successful. Over 25,000 patient visits were recorded in the first three years, with a patient satisfaction rating higher than 98%. Avance Care has received national recognition from the National Committee of Quality Assurance (NCQA) for being a “Patient-Centered Medical Home” as well as being recognized for its high quality of diabetic care. Based on this success, along with high patient demand, the Leesville, North Raleigh location is considered the best choice for the next community focused “Patient-Centered Medical Home”.

By expanding our services, we can do more to create healthier communities. The new location, named “Leesville Primary Care”, will be located at 12341 Strickland, Suite 102, Raleigh, NC 27613, and is scheduled to open in the fall of 2011. The accessibility of the new location for patients was heavily considered. Since this location is very close to I-540, and exits of Leesville and Creedmoor Road we think it’s a great location. All services offered and hours of operations will be identical to our Morrisville, NC location.
Avance Care is also pleased to announce the family physicians that will be in this location. Dr. Steven Alexander, and Dr. Ayesha Nasir. Together, they will be joining Avance Care to offer primary care services to patients of all ages (Pediatrics and Adults). Dr. Alexander will also be practicing part-time at our Morrisville location.
Dr. Steven Alexander, a Board Certified Family Physician, graduated in 2004, completed his residency at University of Texas in Houston and has since been practicing at Richmond Family Medicine in Rockingham, NC. Dr. Alexander enjoys taking care of children, adults and the geriatric population and places an emphasis on patient education, preventive medicine and chronic disease management. He also performs basic procedures and speaks Spanish. He enjoys the variety that Family Medicine offers and the relationships it fosters.
Dr. Ayesha Nasir, a Board Certified Family Physician, graduated in 2007, completed her residency at Cabarrus Family Medicine in Concord, NC and has since been practicing at Rowan Regional Hospital, Salisbury, NC. Dr. Nasir enjoys taking care of patients of all ages with special interest in women’s health, geriatrics, and cosmetic skin procedures. She places an emphasis in patient education, connecting with patient and fluent in Hindi and Urdu.
